I looked for details in the destruction to make it appear elegant and far from the cruelty of war. I focused on studying the lines and symbols that represent electrical wires that were damaged by the war. I searched through reimaginings and re- imaginings of objects, adding touches of blue to simulate water seeping in and interfering with the clay soil from which old informal homes were made. Also, I added some cracks on the walls after heavy tremors and shelling of residential buildings
