In the initial phase of my work, I conveyed my vision of the extent of destruction witnessed during the war in Syria. I began by depicting the destruction of buildings and their reconstruction in balance on the canvas using construction materials. My artworks took various forms, including squares, rectangles, and irregular circles, relying on visual memory to determine the shape. There was an accumulation of layers, with the lower layers retaining their texture, form, and color in the background, while additional layers on top aimed to create a balance between color blocks.
